Nigerian footballer cycles 64 miles balancing football on his head to break Guiness World Record (Photos/Video)

A local Nigerian footballer Harrison Chinedu, remarkably broke the Guiness World record of cycling for 64 miles with a football balanced on his head.

Wearing the Super Eagles jersey, Chinedu rode his bicycle with a ball on his head from the beach to the National stadium, Surulere, while fans, drivers and passers by, sang and cheered him on as he attempted the bizarre feat.
According to Chinedu, he had tried the feat in March this year but failed when he reached 30 miles, but after several rehearsals and training, made up his mind to carry out the feat again.

After the feat, he said:
“My biggest motivation was that I believe in showcasing my God-given talent. I know I have the skill and I want to show the world what I can do. This one is a record created by me and I am happy that I have done my own side. And it's left for the Guinness World Records to ratify it and bring back results."

Wayne Rooney who claims to be injured, pictured looking drunk & partying with two women (Photos)

England and Manchester United football club captain Wayne Rooney was pictured with blood shut eyes and red wine coloured lips, surrounded by two women after gatecrashing a lady's wedding in a Posh Hotel in the UK on Sunday.

According to the Sun UK who obtained the pictures, Rooney was looking 'too drunk to stand'

Rooney had on Monday withdrawn from the English team, citing injury as his reason, but with his latest booze antics, he faces huge criticism and a possible removal from the team by Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, whose side faces Arsenal this weekend.
According to the report, Rooney, staggered around and was barely able to keep his eyes open and one of the women -wearing Rooney’s Three Lions jumper - was believed to be a bar maid, while the other was a wedding guest.

Guests at the five-star Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire revealed how Rooney was “paralytic” after partying until 5am and could barely talk by the end.

According to reports, Mourinho is looking for how to offload Rooney to another club- possibly in China or U.S next summer.

"I've gone several months without being paid' Samson Siasia resigns from National football duty

Samson Siasia, Nigeria's Bronze winning coach at Rio 2016 has resigned from his post as head coach despite his team's heroics this summer saying he's doing so because of 'a disrespectful system'
'I have reached that point where I have to say I have had  enough, I've gone several months without getting paid, years of being derided and disrespected by the sports authorities in Nigeria but I am done already." Siasia, whose contract expires at the end of the Olympics, told BBC Sport.
It's sad that after all we went through to get to Brazil and end up winning a bronze medal, the players, coaching and backroom staff never received a 'thank you' in appreciation despite a turbulent time at the Olympics" Sisasia added.
"First we had the minister deride us for camping in Atlanta and even denied our existence as a group before the flight problems," recalled Siasia.
"Players had to embark on a strike to be heard, then the boys kept a good spirit to win an incredible medal, only to be publicly criticised for speaking to the Japanese surgeon who supported and rewarded the team for their brave spirit I've taken a deep look at everything and concluded that things need to change for us to progress as a country not just in football but our general lives.I have fulfilled my obligations as a citizen, footballer and coach; right now I do not want to be involved in the Nigerian football system anymore," said Siasia.
The NFF, already heavily criticized for their treatment of the Nigerian football teams, are yet to respond to Siasia's resignation.
Siasia is Nigeria's most decorated coach at the Olympics after winning a silver medal at the Beijing 2008 Olympics.
