Outrage In Egypt After Mentally Ill Man Dies Outside Hospital

A disturbing image of a man's dead body left in a wheelchair outside a hospital has sparked outrage in Egypt. The picture has been widely shared on social media in recent days and prompted a government investigation.
It reportedly shows the body of Anwar Mustafa Darwish who had been suffering mental health problems.
His family claim he was taken to the General Hospital in Port Said after suffering a dizziness and then a fall.
Mr Darwich had wet himself and was insulted and thrown out of the hospital by security guards, the relatives claim. He then died in the street.
Director of the hospital Dr Sherif Obojenda, appears to have given a different version of events.
He says the man was treated at the hospital but then left.
A government prosecutor is now investigating the situation.
