The long feud between Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano and his predecessor, Peter Obi has finally ended. The reconciliation took place at the funeral mass of late former first African Principal of Christ the King College, (CKC) Onitsha, Rev. Fr. Nicholas Chukwuemeka Tagbo.
Obiano displayed a rare sense of humility by apologizing to his predecessor. According to the Special Assistant to the Governor, Ifeanyi Aniagoh, the Governor while delivering an eulogy on the late principal, turned to Peter Obi and asked him for forgiveness
He said:
Maja Umeh (the Bishop I am guessing) prayed, blessed them and declared: "Going on now...Total reconciliation of Gov. Obiano and Peter Obi"
Father Tagbo, who died at the age of 87 on July 2nd will be buried on August 4, after a Mass at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha. Yesterday, his remains arrived CKC in a cart for the funeral mass attended by Obiano, Obi and other dignitaries.

Tagbo is here to ask my brother and friend, Chief Peter Obi if there is any wrong that I have done to you please forgive"Responding to Obiano's olive branch, Obi said that as a Christian, he was under obligation to forgive whenever there was cause to He pledged his total support to the administration in its efforts to build a better Anambra for the younger generation.
